ISWAN's free, confidential, multilingual helpline for professional yacht crew, available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our experienced helpline team can offer a listening ear to anyone who is worried and needs support or someone to talk to.

The organisations listed on this poster by the International Chamber of Shipping provide different useful services, including emotional support, and most are available 24 hours a day. International and regional helplines are available for seafarers wishing to talk to someone wherever they are in the world.

Seafarers can download the ISWAN for Seafarers app for access to support from ISWAN's 24-hour helplines Yacht Crew Help and SeafarerHelp at the touch of a button. The app also offers offline access to all of ISWAN's mental and physical health resources, including self-help mental wellbeing guides.

A small grants fund for seafarers and their families who have been impacted by the Ukraine crisis and need immediate and urgent financial support.
Seafarer-centred organisations must apply to the fund on behalf of seafarers or their families (individual seafarers cannot apply). A seafarer-centred organisation may include but is not limited to a maritime welfare charity, maritime union, port welfare committee, ship management company or manning agent.
